How is it different from the previous version? This new formula is slightly less creamy but very close. The longevity on this new version is incredible. It gives the hair a bit more hold, structure and a more matte finish. It's a big upgrade despite how great the original was.

DIRECTIONS: Scoop out a small amount and work into fingers and palms. Apply to damp or dry hair. Use on dry hair as a post styler for best results. Works great on all hair types and lengths.

An extremely easy application which is perfect if you're growing your hair out as it has zero tug or pull. A true natural finish (unlike other product manufacturers claiming a natural finish but they're actually shine products). This leaves a very flexible and pliable hold that I can run my fingers or wide tooth comb through easily several times a day without losing the product's effects. Although my hair has a natural feel as if it has virtually nothing in it, there is still structure that I couldn't achieve without "Success".

Excellent product. Surprisingly good amount of hold for this being a paste and super smooth application with no tugging. Hold lasts throughout the day with little issue, and this is great if you want a sleek, styled look or something a bit more tousled. More of a satin/natural shine, washes out very clean, and hair is noticeably more moisturized during the day.
